Clare’s Fine Gael TD says a decision on Lufthansa Tecknik’s future is Shannon is expected next month.
It comes as more than 500 jobs are reportedly at risk there, as a strategic review of its operations is being carried out, following what the company says is the “devastating” impact of the pandemic.

In a statement, Lufthansa Tecknik says they’re looking at “what changes, if any, need to be implemented” to allow them to navigate what they describe, as “one of the most difficult periods” in their history.
Clarecastle based Deputy Joe Carey, added that it’s a very worrying time for people who work in Lufthansa Technik.
