Debate To Continue Over Limerick Northern Distributor Road

A Meelick Councillor is calling for issues surrounding the controversial Northern Distributor Road to be dealt with in a meaningful way.

A fresh approach to the route is to be debated by Clare Councillors this afternoon, with the local authority having already backed the project to go ahead.

The road is set to run through parts of south east Clare and across the border to Limerick, where councillors have been afforded more time to consider the implications, having turned down original plans.
