More than 500 others were injured in the blasts at a warehouse in the port city of Tianjin.

The first explosion caused a massive fireball that could be seen from space – while the impact could be felt several kilometres away with hundreds of buildings and cars destroyed.

The Government says a thorough transparent investigation is underway.
