The number of people killed by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti has passed one thousand.
The fiercest Caribbean storm in almost a decade struck the country on Tuesday with winds of more than 140 miles an hour.
Haiti is now dealing with cholera and having to bury some of the victims in mass graves.
Meanwhile, Hurricane Matthew is now known to have killed 17 people in the US.
Around half the deaths came in North Carolina – where a life-threatening flooding situation remains.
The storm has been downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone.
