Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin has extended his deepest sympathies following the death of Maureen Haughey, wife of the late former Taoiseach Charles Haughey.
Maureen’s son Seán Haughey tweeted this morning saying his mother, a truly remarkable woman, had passed away peacefully, aged 91.
She is survived by her family, Eimear, Conor, Ciaran, and Seán.
