Date set for appeal on assisted suicide case

Marie Fleming’s Supreme Court appeal challenging the absolute ban on assisted suicide is to be heard over 3 days at the end of the month.

The former UCD lecturer is in the final stages of  multiple sclerosis and wishes to end her life with dignity at her Wicklow home without the fear her partner Tom Curran may be prosecuted should he help her.
