A delegation from the Dáil will meet the Egyptian President this morning to discuss Ibrahim Halawa.
Mr. Halawa has been held for over 3 years – without trial – since being arrested during a military coup in the country in 2013.
Yesterday eight members of the Oireachtas met with the Dubliner in his Cairo jail – where he remains on hunger strike.
He's not been charged with any crime, and his mass trial has been postponed 16 times.
Independent TD, Paul Murphy says his case is a priority for all members of the Dáil.
