Dáil decision on Wallace imminent

The Dáil’s committee on members’ interests will decide today whether to launch an inquiry into Mick Wallace.

Last night the Taoiseach warned the coalition ‘stands ready’ to put down a motion of censure in the Wexford TD.

Mr. Wallace made false VAT returns and has entered a 2.1 million euro settlement with revenue – though he says it’s unlikely to be paid.
