DAA Admits Shannon Approach For Assistance With Security Personnel Numbers

The CEO of the DAA admits the group approached Shannon Airport about the possibility of them assisting the capital with security personnel numbers.

The Oireachtas Transport Committee has heard fresh calls for Shannon and Cork to be involved in easing capacity concerns in Dublin.

Passengers are being advised to arrive three and a half hours before long haul flights in the capital over the upcoming Bank Holiday Weekend.
