A person is being treated for injuries sustained while cycling in East Clare.
Killaloe Coast Guard unit were alerted to an injured person on a mountain bike trail one kilometre up the Ballycuggeran track towards Moylussa at 9pm on Wednesday.

The first response vehicle arrived on the scene at 9:10pm and ascended the slope to reach the person who had sustained a leg injury and was unable to move.
After being treated by paramedics and stretchered down the slope by a Killaloe Coast Guard team, the person was transferred to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
