Wild Goats Prompt Road Safety Concerns In Loop Head

The Department of Agriculture has been contacted by Councillors and Oireachtas members from Clare over concerns regarding wild goats in the Loop Head area.

Up to 100 wild goats have been spotted near the Bridges of Ross and Gardaí have warned that they pose a danger on roads in the area.

Local councillors have received calls from residents regarding road safety issues, and also damage to gardens and farmland.
