West Clare Councillor Believes There’s A ‘Deficit’ In Recruiting Carers In The County

A West Clare Councillor believes there’s a ‘deficit’ in recruiting carers in this county to roles within the HSE.

It comes after new figures revealed over 67,000 of public home help was provided in Clare across disability and older people services in the month of September.

A recent anti-poverty report overseen by the Clare PPN had raised concerns about the number of home care hours given in this county compared to the neighbouring areas of Limerick and Tipperary.
