Two Clare Towns Up For Judgement In National Enterprise Town Awards

It’s judgement day for Kilrush and Ennis, as the towns prepare to welcome the adjudicators in the Bank of Ireland National Enterprise Town Awards.

Judges will arrive in the West Clare town this morning, before making their way to the county town in the afternoon to assess their chances of being named the most enterprising town in the country.

The judging process will cover areas including local enterprise initiatives, attractiveness of the town, overall community support as well as efforts to foster better inclusion and diversity.

A total prize fund of almost €200,000 will be shared by 40 towns across the country.
