The Transport Minister says he wants Shannon Airport to be sold as a ‘low carbon’ air destination in a post-pandemic world.

Eamon Ryan held a public meeting in Ennis last night which was interrupted by activists protesting about a number of issues, including fracked gas and prospecting licences in East Clare.

The Minister has a number of further engagements in county Clare today, where he is to brief Councillors here on the Government’s Climate Action Plan before visiting Shannon Airport.
