Taoiseach Insists Ministers ‘Trying To Get Shannon Heritage Sites Resolved’

The Taoiseach insists the Government is trying to get the issue of the management of Shannon Heritage sites ‘resolved’.

There was widespread concern expressed when no provision for the transfer of operations of Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Craggaunowen and Knappogue Castle to Clare County Council were made in Budget 2023.

It’s understood negotiations between the Government, Shannon Airport Group and the Council on a potential multi-million package to facilitate the agreement remain ongoing.
