Tributes are pouring in for a granddaughter of former US Senator Robert F Kennedy, who went to school in Lahinch, who has been found dead in the US.
22-year-old Saoirse Kennedy-Hill was the daughter of Robert’s fifth child Courtney and her husband Paul Hill, one of the Guildford Four wrongfully convicted of the 1974 pub bombings in the UK.
Saoirse attended Lahinch National School when her parents lived in north Clare from 2002 until 2007.

In a statement, Ennistymon Parish said: “Our deepest sympathy to her parents and extended family.”
It’s reported she died of an overdose.
