Renowned Ruan musician Sharon Shannon says the late RTÉ broadcaster Gay Byrne will be remembered for his kindness.
The legendary host of The Late Late Show passed away yesterday at the age of 85, after a long illness.
His career spanned 60 years and today members of the public in his native Dublin are remembering him by signing a book of condolences that has opened in his honour.
