Route For Ennis St Patrick’s Day 2023 Parade Revealed

The route for this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in Ennis has been revealed.

Clare County Council is continuing to encourage both groups and individuals to submit an entry to take part in the festivities.

The theme of the 2023 Ennis St Patrick’s Day Parade is ‘Communities in Action’.

 

The local authority’s told Clare FM the parade will begin at 11am on the day from its headquarters at Áras Contae an Chláir.

It will then proceed via New Road, Newbridge Road, Club Bridge, Abbey Street, O’Connell Square, Bank Place, and Bindon Street.

A Grand Marshall is due to be revealed closer to the day.

Clare County Council and Ennis Municipal District say they’re currently inviting individuals, groups, clubs, and societies from across County Clare to participate in the festivities.

Prizes will be given out by the local authority in four different categories: best visual spectacle; best musical entrant; most environmentally aware entrant and best interpretation of theme.
