Remainder Of Asylum Seekers Housed In Tents In Clare To Be Moved Today

The remainder of asylum seekers who were housed in tents in Clare in sub-zero weather are being re-located today.

Over 80 men were moved from Knockalisheen on Saturday night, with the rest to be brought to new accommodation in Clare, Limerick and elsewhere.

The Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland is describing it as ‘a welcome decision’ to move them out of tents.
