The Public Expenditure Minister says relevant bodies ‘need to come together’ to find a solution on the impending sale of land on Ennis’ Quin Road which contains vital sewerage infrastructure.
The Shannon Airport Group is negotiating the sale of land which contains facilities such as footpaths, public lighting and sewerage, including a pump house serving the adjoining Bruach na hAbhainn estate.
The matter’s now been raised in the Dail by Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara, with Irish Water being asked to ensure the sale won’t adversely impact local customers.
