Planning Regulator’s Report Shows Six Clare Complaints Lodged In 2020

The Office of the Planning Regulator received six official complaints from Clare last year.

The findings are contained in the OPR’s annual report, which shows 139 complaints were made across the country in 2020.

Of the more than 700 planning applications that were made here last year, over 90 percent of them were approved by Clare County Council.

Less than 5 percent of decisions in this county were appealed in 2020, and of the decisions that were appealed, just over 1 in 5 were reversed.
