Planning Permission Granted For Corbally Lidl

An Bord Pleanála has given German supermarket giant Lidl the go ahead to construct a new store in Corbally.

The project was initially given the green light by Clare County Council last October, but following a number of submissions, the application was passed to the planning appeals authority for the final decision.

Permission has now been granted to Lidl, subject to a number of conditions, including junction improvements to be carried out at the site by the Westbury estate, which will be part-funded by Clare County Council.
