A brand new festival on Loop Head is kicking off tomorrow, to celebrate the peninsula’s nature and heritage.
The inaugural Midsummer Festival will run for 10 days and will see a serious of events including walks and talks, boat trips, guided cycling tours and traditional music.
Suzanne Magee from Loop Head Tourism and Dolphinwatch says it’s also a chance for people to witness some of the peninsula’s unusual wildlife:
