‘Imperative’ Brexit Deal Is Reached To Avoid Consequences For Clare Businesses – Carey

A Clare Government TD says it’s ‘imperative’ a Brexit deal is reached to avoid serious consequences for businesses and employees in this county and elsewhere.

The British Prime Minister and European Commission President will meet in Brussels in the coming days to try and end the Brexit deadlock after failing to reach an agreement on the phone yesterday.

There are some sticking points remaining including fishing rights and the so-called ‘level playing field’.
