Hundreds Of Passengers Arriving Home For Christmas At Shannon Airport

Hundreds of passengers have begun landing at Shannon Airport as they reunite with their families for Christmas.

Flights from Luton, Stansted and Edinburgh are to arrive this morning, after planes from Manchester and Heathrow touched down yesterday.

Many passengers are reuniting with their families for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

People travelling must now provide evidence of either a negative antigen or PCR test before entering Ireland.

These arrivals told Clare FM News those guidelines were worth it to get back home.
