HSE Says Repurposing Clare Property For Healthcare Staff Accommodation Would Pose Complications

The HSE says it will examine the possibility of repurposing a fully refurbished vacant property under its ownership in Clare.

Inis Gile in Parteen has 19 en-suite bedrooms and received full retrofitting in 2019 before briefly being utilised as a Covid vaccination clinic during the pandemic.

Following the INMO’s annual conference earlier this month, Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly confirmed his department would explore all avenues to provide nursing accommodation.
