Homesavers ‘Confident’ Planning Legislation In Ennis Not Breached

Homesavers say they’re ‘confident’ they have not breached any planning legislation for their outlet on the outskirts of Ennis.

It comes after Clare County Council confirmed it has sought legal advice on the matter, with a number of businesspeople in the town understood to have complained to the local authority in respect of the Ballymaley Business Park store.

In a statement to Clare FM, the outlet says it’s fully engaged with the council and ‘provided all information sought’ during the process.

Homesavers say they’ve created 55 new jobs since its opening, which they say will contribute in excess of 2 million euro of personal income to be spent in the economy of Ennis and its surrounding areas.

We are confident that Homesavers has not breached any planning legislation and we can confirm that we have fully engaged with Clare County Council and provided all information sought.

Since its opening Homesavers has operated as an essential retailer for the benefit of the people of Ennis town. It has created 55 local new jobs which will contribute in excess of €2 million of personal income which will in turn be spent in the local economy of Ennis for the benefit of all retailers and other local businesses.
