It’s feared further challenges await Clare homeowners affected by pyrite in light of the redress scheme announcement.
Minister Darragh O’Brien signed off on regulations yesterday enabling pyrite homeowners to apply for redress in order to repair of demolish and rebuild their homes.
Under the Enhanced Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme, 100% of remediation work can be covered up to a value of €420,000.
