Families Reunite At Shannon Airport For Christmas As 75,000 Passengers Expected Up To New Year’s

Families have begun reuniting at Shannon Airport this week as up to 75,000 passengers are expected to pass through its doors over the festive period.

This will be the airport’s busiest Christmas season in three years, following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visitors and those arriving at Shannon were met with the sound of carol singing in the arrivals hall by St Senan’s National School on Tuesday, with school children from St John’s National School set to perform this morning.
