Excitement is brewing in North Clare today, ahead of the visit of the King and Queen of Sweden to the Burren later.
Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife, Queen Silvia, will arrive in Clare this afternoon for a tour of an eco-farm before visiting the Burren Smokehouse restaurant in Lisdoonvarna.
The royal couple have been entertained in Dublin by President Higgins since their arrival on Wednesday.
