Ennis 2040 Chief Says ‘Balance’ Needs To Be Struck Between Housing And Jobs In Plan

The head of Ennis 2040 says a ‘balance’ between housing provision and adding new jobs to the county town needs to be struck in the lifetime of the plan.

It’s intended to develop around 5,000 square metres of space next year under the plan, with a mix of office space, retail and apartments set to be earmarked.

The Ennis 2040 DAC has recently bought a site on Francis Street from Clare County Council which it is now considering use for.
