Almost three quarters of a million euro has been announced for six communities in Clare under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
€200,000 will go to Clarecastle to modify the streetscape there, while Bunratty has been allocated €137,000 for the same purpose.
The community halls in Kilbaha and Ogonnelloe will benefit from grants of €100,000 and €35,000 each and Quilty has been granted €92,000 for improved beach access.
