Sixmilebridge is to benefit from a 100,000 euro cash injection aimed at revitalising the town centre.
The South East Clare town is one of 26 chosen by the Department of Rural and Community Development to take part in a 2.6 million euro scheme.
The scheme looks to tackle derelict and vacant properties to make town centres more attractive places to live, work, socialise and run a business in.
