€100,000 Sixmilebridge Investment Will Encourage Families To Move Back To Area – Crowe

A Sixmilebridge Councillor says a €100,000 State investment in the town will coax young families to move back into the area.

The town will receive the cash injection under the Town Centre First Plans initiative, which looks to refurnish derelict and vacant properties for alternative uses.

Sixmilebridge has experienced significant population growth in recent years, with the town recording a population of over 2,600 in the last Census.

Fine Gael Councillor John Crowe says expanding the town centre’s offering is key to its future.
