Court Granted Permission For Repossession Of 10 Clare Homes This Year

Courts gave banks permission to repossess 10 primary homes in Clare in the first six months of this year.

According to details released under the Freedom of Information Act, a total of 18 repossession cases were initiated at the Courthouse in Ennis.

Nationally, nearly 250 primary homes were repossessed – nearly 10 each week – after banks took firm action against those in mortgage arrears.
