Council Issues Fresh Appeal For Accommodation Pledges For Those Fleeing Ukraine War

Clare County Council’s issuing a fresh appeal to people across the county to offer properties as temporary homes for those fleeing war in Ukraine.

Several thousand refugees have made their home in this county since the onset of the conflict, with the Ennistymon local electoral area having one of the highest number of Ukrainians per capita in the country.

Property owners are being asked to offer homes by contacting Clare County Council, with tax-free incentives of 800 euro per month being offered.
