Council Asked To Take ‘More Serious Action’ Against Tenants Engaging In Anti-Social Behaviour

Clare County Council’s being asked to take ‘more serious action’ against what’s being described as a ‘minority’ of social housing tenants who are engaging in anti-social behaviour.

Concerns have been raised by elected representatives that neighbours of those partaking in anti-social activities aren’t being protected enough by the local authority or An Garda Siochana.

The Council says while the ‘vast majority’ of its 3,000 tenancies are occupied by law-abiding tenants, such behaviour will not be tolerated.
