Concerns That Cratloe/Sixmilebridge Slip Road Onto Dual Carriageway Poses Safety Risk

Concerns have been raised that a slip road on the Limerick-bound dual carriageway poses a potential road traffic accident risk.

Councillor Pat O’Gorman has called for traffic calming measures on the Cratloe/Sixmilebridge slip road after Junction 5, due to safety concerns.

The Fianna Fáil Councillor has suggested that the slip road is too short to allow cars to build up the necessary speed to safely merge onto the dual carriageway.
