The rate of divorce in Clare in amongst the highest of any county in Ireland.
Figures from the Courts Service, reported by The Irish Times, show a total of 221 divorces were granted here in 2016 and 2017.
Carlow had the highest rate of divorce in both years, while in 2017 there was a higher rate of divorce in Clare than in Dublin.
