Clare SVP President Says People Who Never Needed Charity Before Now Seeking Help

The President of the Clare branch of SVP says people in this county who’ve never availed of charity are now seeking help and support.

It comes amid continued debate surrounding the rising cost of living, with both the Taoiseach and the Tanaiste indicating no mini-budget will be announced before October.

It’s understood a substantial welfare and pension package is being planned for Budget 2023, along with the potential widening of tax bands and increased subsidies for childcare.
