Clare Independent TD Welcomes Government’s Decision To Reverse Downgrading Of NDLS

The Government has accepted a motion put forward by a Clare TD calling for the reversal of the decision to downgrade National Driving Licence Service offices in Ennis and across the country.

A temporary Covid downgrading of the NDLS office in the county town had been made permanent in recent weeks with walk-in services no longer available.

The Indpendent Group of TDs has sought the resumption of this service at all 34 NDSL centres, the acceptance of cash payments and the discontinuation of the requirement of a Public Services Card for online renewals.
