Clare Haven Claims Blind Eye Culture Is Enabling Escalation In Sexual Violence

Clare Haven claims a blind eye culture is enabling incidents of sexual harrassment to progress to violent behaviour.

It comes as the Central Statistics Office has just this week published its landmark ‘attitudes to sexual violence’ profile.

Among the key findings of the survey was that 86% of women believed sexual violence was a common occurrence, while just one in four were ‘uncertain’ with the statement that “Women often make up or exaggerate reports of rape.”
