Clare’s GRA representative claims Gardaí are “in the room” and ready to begin negotiations over rostering with the Garda Commissioner.
Rank and file gardaí intend to withdraw their voluntary overtime every Tuesday in October, beginning today, with threats of a ‘blue flu’ in November if Commisioner Drew Harris doesn’t defer his plans to return to the old roster on November 6th.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee has urged the Garda Representative Association and the Commissioner to “negotiate, to double down, to try and find the solution”.
