Alarm At Sudden Closure Of Killaloe’s Citizens Information Service

Locals in the Killaloe area are expressing alarm at the sudden temporary closure of the town’s Citizens Information service.

The office there has been serving the Killaloe-Ballina communities, with a total population of around 4,500, for the past 10 years with free advice and support on a range of issues.

North Munster Citizens Information Service says there are no plans to permanently close it down, adding that temporary closures are occasionally necessitated due to unexpected sick leave.
