The current Ennis Mobility Plan will be in place until at least September.

Currently the pedestrianisation of Abbey and O’Connell Streets is in operation from 11am to 6pm, but plans are progressing to allow for more outdoor dining in the town, which will involve a further change to the use of the town’s streets.

Under provisional plans, which are supported by Ennis Chamber, Parnell Street, from Carmody Street to Woodquay Junction and Frances Street, from the junction of the Friary carpark will be closed to cars from 6.30 to 11.30pm every night between June and August, as well as at weekends through to September.
