A woman who travelled halfway across the world to find love in Lisdoonvarna has praised the friendliness of Clare’s people and businesses.
Mary Blair-Elizabeth Timby came all the way from the Rocky Mountain State of Colorado after hearing about the matchmaking festival in an episode of Schitt’s Creek.

She flew alone and quickly made friends in the queue for a rental car and after her story quickly went viral online, she soon met her match and would visit the Fiddle and Bow Collection and Bunratty Castle for dates.
