A festival said to have a “special place in the hearts and minds” of Irish traditional music lovers is returning next month.
The 31st Ennis Trad Festival takes place from the 6th to the 10th of November this year for a jam-packed five days of concerts, masterclasses, sessions, CD launches and more.
The much-loved event is headlined this year by Brian Finnegan and the Hunger of the Skin Big Band while featuring heavyweights like Cathy Jordan, Frankie Gavin, Caoimhín Ó Fearghail and Nell Ní Chróinín.
Festival Chairperson David Stone says it offers a welcome boost to businesses and musicians alike in the traditionally quiet period of the year.
