A discussion being held in Clare this week will centre on the perceived gaps in the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Quare Clare is hosting a panel discussion and Q&A in the Ennis Library Meeting Room on Tuesday from 10:30am to 1pm which will be chaired by Dr Anne Mulhall of UCD.
The event will feature a presentation by guest speaker Bulelani Mfaco on the community’s rights around the world as well as migrants’ rights and the concerns which weren’t addressed by the Marriage Equality Referendum.
Quare Clare member and Clare Public Participation Network Coordinator Sarah Clancy says many challenges remain for LGBTQIA+ parents.
