Crowe Calls For Review Of HAP Limits

A Clare government TD is joining calls for an urgent review of the income limits imposed on people availing of social housing.

HAP limits mean a couple with two children in Clare can only avail of the scheme if they pay rents of no more than €515 a month.

And while exceptions can be granted, the limits haven’t been reviewed in a decade and rents have grown significantly since then.
