A cross-border group of TDs, Senators and MLAs will meet for the first time at Leinster House later today.

The North-South parliamentary association was first proposed in Good Friday Agreement in 1998, but has taken some time to get off the ground.
Clare Fine Gael Td Pat Breen has been nominated to be part of the 48-member body which is due to meet twice a year to consider areas of cross border interest.
